A unique opportunity for an experienced Rural GP (VMO) to join a purpose-built clinic located beside a district hospital in a close-knit Tasmanian community. This role offers a mix of handson general practice and hospital oncall work, providing excellent scope, autonomy, and meaningful community impact. The oncall roster is shared (1:2 MondayFriday and 1:4 weekends), with strong clinical and administrative support, visiting allied health, and experienced medical colleagues onsite. Essential Criteria Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM Specialist Registration with AHPRA ALS2 / REST (or equivalent emergency medicine certification) Prior experience in both general practice and emergency settings Location Located on Tasmanias scenic west coast, this rural community offers dramatic natural landscapes, a welcoming population, and access to wilderness areas, lakes, forests, and nearby coastal attractions.
