Outdoor Activity Instructors - Roping Qualifications Preferred We are a private Bush Camp on 80 acres in the forest along the Murray River in Dwellingup that caters to the needs of schools, churches, youth groups, and other community-based groups. We can cater for over 300 across 3 large bunkhouses. We have been operating camps for over 40 years. We provide a world-class nature based environment where we develop the students in a variety of outcome-based activity programmes, such as leadership, problem solving, teamwork and adventure. We operate on site a range of outdoor activities including abseiling, climbing tower, zipline, raft building, rafting, kayaking and a low ropes adventure course. We are looking to appoint activity instructors with roping qualifications on a part-time and casual basis to assist with our upcoming school camps. Accommodation and meals are provided while on program. As an activity instructor you will run activities in which you are qualified/trained. Qualifications & Experience Required: First Aid (HLTAID002) and (HLTAID003) CPR (HLTAID001) Working with Children Check Bronze Medallion/Community Surf Rescue (or willingness to obtain ASAP) Drivers Licence Valid Australian Working rights Proficient in low ropes, rock climbing (artificial), abseiling (artificial) and ziplining. Qualifications in climbing, abseiling and/or vertical rescue. Relevant activity instructing qualifications. Proficient in kayaking, mountain biking and bushwalking. Minimum 1 year experience as an outdoor instructor. Duties & Responsibilities Facilitate camp groups in outdoor education programs to ensure educational outcomes are achieved. Manage safety and mitigate risks associated with delivering outdoor education programs. Collaborate with team members to promote an environment of teamwork and problem solving. Collaborate with clients to coordinate experiential outdoor education programs. The Successful Candidate Will Have the Following Attributes A commitment to deliver excellent customer service.
