THE ROLE We are seeking a Site Supervisor / Leading Hand Carpenter to lead & deliver a variety of minor works & small commercial projects across the Peel region. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, handson tradesperson ready to take the next step, combining their technical carpentry skills with light site supervision responsibilities. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, maintain safety standards, coordinate trades & subcontractors & ensure every finish reflects AE Hoskins longstanding reputation for quality & reliability. You will be wellorganised, proactive & comfortable leading a small crew while still jumping on the tools when required. You will also enjoy mentoring apprentices, liaising with clients & subcontractors & keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and manage daily site activity, including subcontractor coordination & material scheduling Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders regarding site progress & requirements Interpret construction drawings & specifications to identify and resolve potential issues early Conduct site inspections to ensure safety, quality & compliance with Australian Standards Uphold AE Hoskins Work Health & Safety Management Plan (WHSMP) across all site activity Represent AE Hoskins in a professional & respectful manner with clients and the community WHAT''S ON OFFER Fulltime, permanent position based in the Peel region Company vehicle, fuel card & phone provided Weekly pay Optional overtime at penalty rates Work with a longstanding, familyowned commercial builder Supportive, flexible & teamfocused environment OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE Proven experience in commercial or minor works supervision Strong leadership, communication & problemsolving skills Sound knowledge of construction standards & compliance Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SimPRO advantageous PRE-REQUISITES White Card WA Drivers Licence First Aid Police Clearance At AE Hoskins, respect, honesty & reliability are the foundation of everything we do.
