$108,347 - $116,216 pa + Super + Salary Sacrifice AHP3 Salary$108,347 -$116,216 p.a. + Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Full-Time, Temporary Role until October 2026 About the Role As a Senior Pharmacist working with the Stroke and Neurology teams at SALHN, you will play a vital leadership role in shaping high-quality, patient-centred pharmacy services within this space and provide clinical expertise to patients, medical teams and other multi-disciplinary stakeholders. You will oversee the organisation, management and daily operations of your service, exercising advanced clinical judgement to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will support the safe, costeffective and evidencebased use of medicines, while ensuring all practice aligns with hospital policies, professional standards and legislative requirements. Working collaboratively with pharmacists across specialty areas, you will help ensure the seamless flow of accurate information to support safe, coordinated and effective patient care. In this senior position, you will take responsibility for complex duties performed with autonomy, contribute to policy development, and help prepare contingency plans to support service continuity across the department. You will manage human, financial and material resources efficiently, and use tools such as video and teleconferencing to deliver care and leadership across multiple sites. As a key mentor and educator, you will provide guidance, training and professional development to pharmacists, technicians, assistants, interns and students, while actively participating in committees, professional groups and ongoing learning activities. Above all, you will foster a culture of communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing, ensuring decisions are strategic, patientfocused and aligned with best practice and organisational standards. About You You are an accomplished and motivated pharmacist who brings advanced clinical capability, strong leadership qualities and a commitment to delivering safe, highquality and patientcentred pharmacy services. With the required qualifications and extensive hospital pharmacy experience, youre ready to contribute your expertise, guide others and support continuous improvement across a complex health environment. You will bring: Degreequalified and registered, with extensive hospital pharmacy experience and strong professional competence. Confident communicator and problem solver, skilled in research, data analysis, decisionmaking and engaging diverse stakeholders. Organised, detailfocused leader, able to manage deadlines, drive service improvements and work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Experienced supervisor and educator, with the ability to train, mentor and guide staff while upholding standards, accreditation requirements and best practice.
