Role Summary If youre ready to lead environmental capability and contribute to Bradkens global HSE strategy, wed love to hear from you. Reporting to the Region HSE Manager, you will play a key operational support function that empowers site leaders to embed strong environmental practices and drive compliance with national and state legislation. Youll be the goto expert for environmental systems, audits, and regulatory engagement, helping us meet our ISO14001:2015 commitments and sustainability goals. You will need to be a confident communicator and trusted advisor. You bring a collaborative mindset, capable of coaching leaders, influencing change, and navigating complex stakeholder environments. Your ability to simplify compliance requirements and guide teams through audits, incident reviews, and field inspections will be critical. Youre proactive, solutionsfocused, and comfortable working across diverse sites and teams. Youll bring deep expertise in environmental legislation, monitoring programs (e.g., groundwater, energy efficiency, pollution inventory), and risk management. Youll lead the development and implementation of environmental systems and standards, maintain compliance registers, and support data collection and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Experience with ISO14001:2015 and environmental audits is essential, along with a strong grasp of change management principles. Key Technical Criteria A Degree in Science, Environmental, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent with the additional experience listed below. CertIV in Training & Assessment (preferred) Minimum of 5years experience in an environmental and/or sustainability management role (preferably within a manufacturing environment) Experience and exposure to developing and maintaining an Environmental Management System. Experience rolling out environment and sustainability initiatives, programs and training in a project and operational setting. Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures. This role is based in Bassendean; this is a parental leave cover for 6months. Why Bradken?
