Job Description

The NSX National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) is launching the next stage of its development as an innovative and enduring national listings market for Australia. In the last 12+ months, we have broadened our local leadership team with some of Australia''s most experienced leadership professionals in market infrastructure. Most recently, NSX was acquired by the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) which is committed to material investment in people and technology. We continue to invest in strengthening our team and are seeking a candidate to lead our Admissions Team in this exciting stage of our development, as we take significant and important steps in transforming NSX and Australia''s national markets. Key Responsibilities developing a new regulatory framework for NSX Listings; ensuring applicants for a NSX listing satisfy regulatory requirements, including those in the NSX Listings Rules; presenting to Board sub-committees on the critical issues relating to forthcoming listing and other regulatory matters; building relationships with critical external stakeholders, including regulators, professional advisers and industry bodies; an ability to publicly advocate when required for the NSX as an integral and innovative part of Australia''s markets landscape; working with the dedicated NSX leadership and wider executive team to transform our business and Australia''s markets; ensure that the Exchange delivers exceptional, professional client service throughout the admissions process. Requirements have experience in and a passion for Australia''s listed markets and growing their importance for our nation and region; a capacity to learn from respected industry leaders, and then develop and implement your own vision for a regulatory framework that complements the wider strategic vision of our leadership team and owners; have the resilience to endure through the setbacks that will inevitably arise in an innovative and frontline role in a public facing industry; want to be a part of NSX becoming an integral part of Australia''s market infrastructure landscape over the next five years and more; be proud of your academic and/or professional qualifications, but also be more fulfilled by your drive and ability to make lasting changes in the competitive and exciting world of equity capital markets; have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in financial services; possess Australian work rights as this is required for the position.
