Through mentoring and coaching, youll build team capability and consistency, ensuring programs that promote wellbeing, purpose and genuine social connection.As the Regional Leisure and Lifestyle Partner, you will be required to travel across homes, and engage with residents and their families, understand their needs and assist in their day-today lifestyle activities.About You:Were looking for a proven individual with significant experience in the Leisure and Lifestyle space who has a deep understanding of people living in aged care communities and what is needed to enhance life to be the best it can be. Youll bring strong skills, a track record of excellent care, and the confidence to support home teams to optimise leisure and lifestyle opportunities.Essential qualifications and experience:Bachelor of Health Science or associate degree Health Science with a major in leisure and health or Diversional Therapy/Therapeutic RecreationDiversional Therapist/Lifestyle Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years experienceDemonstrated leadership of teams with work in workplace change, project management and continuous improvementExperience in training and education deliveryPrevious experience of Aged Care and accreditation processesCurrent Drivers LicenceDemonstrated understanding and appreciation of BaptistCares Christian identity and promotion of the organisations values through interactions at workStrong client facing and teamwork skills; ability to build rapport and trust with residents, local residential care staff and operational and support staffSolid organisational skills, including multitasking and time managementAbility and willingness to travel across state and, at times, interstate; ability to connect with others in a meaningful and respectful wayAbility to logically prioritise varying work demandsDemonstrated capacity to foster and implement best practice and continuous improvement processesOther Important Information:Here are some other important items to take note of:You will travel across the state you represent and may be required to spend blocks of time in specific homesYou will stay in overnight accommodation for a period of days as requiredYou may be asked to travel interstateThis position description and your letter of offer outlines the terms and conditions of your employmentYou will successfully complete all prescribed mandatory training and participate in an annual plan and appraisal development processIt is a requirement of the role that you undergo a Police Background CheckAbout UsWe are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
