At Enerven, were connecting you with tomorrow. About the role We are looking for a Principal Design Consultant to take on a strategic, senior role within our engineering delivery team. This person will offer expert technical guidance, mentorship and risk management strategies, while staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovative design solutions for Enervens highvalue, highrisk projects over $50M. The role will be critical to derisking strategic and major projects during tender and bid development, supporting the Head of Bids and Proposals and the Manager of Engineering Delivery. Key responsibilities Execution of the Enerven growth strategy by derisking strategic and major projects solutions during the tender and bid development phases. Mentoring of Senior and Junior Design Managers. Provision of a centre of excellence for the development of engineering valueadding solutions. Development and implementation of efficiency opportunities for high performance and sustainable longterm engineering solutions. About you We are seeking a candidate with approximately 20years of experience in renewables, electrical infrastructure and utilities, with a strong background in concept design, tenders and bid support. The ideal candidate also has expertise in Secondary Systems, Protection, SCADA and Industrial Cybersecurity, and a proven ability to deliver innovative, valueadding engineering solutions. Specific qualifications and experience required include: Degree in Engineering, Chartered Member of the Institute of Engineers, Australia. Specialised crossdiscipline technical expertise within substation, transmission, BESS or wind engineering with particular strength in protection, automation or security systems. Experience in schedule, cost and risk management. EPC or contracting background.
