In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the performance of the existing loan portfolio, with a strong focus on arrears outcomes, operational effectiveness, and actionable portfolio insights. You will translate operational performance data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and the Board, ensuring that trends, risks, and opportunities are visible at every level. Youll lead both our offshore portfolio team and our onshore Portfolio Support team (Quality Assurance & Training, and Hardship). Focused on portfolio performance and arrears management, you will collaborate closely with Credit and Sales to ensure strategies and processes support sustainable outcomes while maintaining a fair and customer-conscious approach. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be a key member of the leadership team, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and business performance. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Performance & Risk Oversight Monitor and optimise portfolio performance, risk, and health across all stages. Identify trends, emerging risks, and areas for targeted intervention. Ensure portfolio practices align with ASIC, NCCP, and AFCA regulatory expectations. Translate operational performance into meaningful, actionable insights for the COO, senior leadership, and the Board. Operational Leadership Lead and manage the offshore portfolio operations team to deliver effective customer engagement and portfolio outcomes. Lead and support the onshore Portfolio Support team (QA/Training, Hardship) to strengthen capability, consistency, and quality. Ensure operational data is captured accurately, efficiently, and in a format that supports executive reporting and decision-making. Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement Produce high-quality, data-driven reporting and insights that clearly link operational activity to portfolio outcomes. Analyse performance drivers across delinquency, hardship, product segments, vintages, and net losses. Build and refine dashboards and reporting frameworks to communicate complex data effectively to senior leadership and the Board. Recommend enhancements to processes, engagement strategies, and operational practices to improve outcomes while supporting fair and respectful customer interactions. Work closely with Credit and Sales to ensure product structure, decisioning, and portfolio processes support long-term performance. Actively contribute to organisational strategy, operational planning, and performance discussions. Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and innovation across onshore and offshore teams.
