Join to apply for the Program Director, Indigenous Graduate Attribute role at University of Technology Sydney This role drives the university-wide Indigenous Graduate Attribute (IGA) strategy in alignment with the UTS Indigenous Education and Research Strategy 20252030. The Program Director provides highlevel advice to senior leaders, embeds IGA across faculties, monitors progress, and represents UTS in external partnerships. Responsibilities Maintain the IGA framework, coordinate crossUTS workshops and develop central resources to support faculty implementation. Lead the strategic Indigenous Teaching and Learning program, positioning UTS as a national and international leader. Provide strategic guidance on IGA implementation, Indigenous teaching and learning matters to senior leaders and academic staff. Lead the Indigenous Teaching and Learning team, setting clear goals, building staff capability and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate on independent research and develop scholarly papers to promote UTS sector leadership. Selection Criteria Understanding of Indigenous cultural protocols and engagement with staff in a respectful, thoughtful manner. Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate diverse teams to achieve key performance outcomes. Demonstrated capacity to lead the IGA program and contribute to UTS strategic direction on Indigenous teaching and learning. Experience in Indigenous curriculum design, development and implementation within tertiary education. Ability to manage and deliver largescale, multiphase complex projects or programs with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of principles for protection of, and respectful engagement with ICIP for Indigenous teaching and learning. Eligibility Applications are only open to Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. Base Salary Range Base Salary Range: SSG1 $145,668 to $181,327 pa. This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
