En Gold is a design-led furniture brand built on craftsmanship, natural materials and thoughtful design. We operate as a lean, founder-led business, and we are now hiring a Head of Operations to lead and stabilise our Australian operations across warehouse, gallery, logistics, client care and internal support teams.This is a hands-on operational leadership role, not a corporate desk job. You will lead department managers, bring structure, strengthen accountability, and ensure the entire Australian operation runs smoothly and consistently.Were looking for someone who thrives in small-team environments where they can create clarity, lift performance, and have immediate impact.WHAT YOU WILL OWNYou will lead the Warehouse Manager, Gallery Manager, Client Care Lead, Admin/Finance Support and Logistics/Dispatch Lead.Set clear expectations, KPIs and prioritiesCoach and develop managersAddress performance issues early and decisivelyHire, onboard and restructure as neededBuild capability across the team, not run their departments for them2. Oversee All Australian Operations (High-Level)Youre not doing daily tasks you are ensuring they happen correctly.Ensure warehouse, gallery, dispatch and client care operate at high standardIdentify operational gaps and ensure managers implement solutionsDrive cross-department collaboration and communicationKeep founders informed with clear reporting and visibilityThis role is people-heavy.Build a performance-driven cultureEnsure managers hold their teams accountableHandle escalated people issuesEstablish structure, reporting lines and SOPsRemove dysfunction before it damages operations4. Operational Planning & ExecutionTranslate founder direction into operational actionPlan staffing, resourcing and workflow needs across AustraliaSupport product launches, gallery changes and operational shiftsIdentify risks and implement preventative systemsImprove efficiency, accuracy and communication across all teams5.
