The Opportunity An established, highgrowth technology and services business is entering its next phase of expansion and is seeking a commercially exceptional Managing Director to lead its market presence, growth strategy, and executive team. The company operates at the intersection of data, AI, cloud, and digital transformation, delivering complex, highvalue programs for major enterprise organisations. Technical depth is a genuine differentiator; senior engineering, delivery, alliances, and solution leaders are already in place, client demand is increasing, and the organisation is positioned for significant scale. What the business needs now is a Managing Director who can elevate the commercial engine, sharpen the market narrative, and build a national gotomarket playbook that accelerates revenue, strengthens partnerships, and drives consistent enterprise engagement. This is a true leadership mandate with both commercial and strategic influence. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy across priority industries, including Financial Services, Insurance, Energy & Utilities, and Retail Lead Partners and Industry Leads to originate, shape, and close highvalue data, digital, and AI transformation programs Personally drive major pursuits: open seniorlevel conversations, build trust in the Csuite, negotiate commercials, and secure multimilliondollar engagements Strengthen and expand relationships with key ecosystem partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake, and others) Drive cosell, codeliver, and comarket motions in partnership with the Alliances Director Align and lead the broader executive team, including the CTO, CMO, Head of Delivery, Partners, and Industry Leads Foster a performancedriven, collaborative culture with clarity, pace, and accountability Act as a visible senior representative of the organisation across industry events, media platforms, and strategic networks Ideal Background Senior executive or Partnerlevel experience in a technology, consulting, data, or digital services business Proven success scaling a services organisation, owning a P&L, and hitting commercial targets Ability to personally drive $10M+ in annual sales through enterprise relationships Extensive Australian enterprise network with deep credibility across CIO, CDO, COO, CMO and transformation stakeholders Experience shaping and closing complex Data, AI or largescale transformation programs Strong commercial fluencypricing, negotiation, deal structuring, and alliance leverage Credibility within hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake) Leadership style that builds belief, energy, ownership, and delivery excellence across senior teams Able to operate as both a commercial strategist and an executionfocused buildercreating structure, rhythm, and capability in a scaling environment Whats on Offer Bonus: Attractive performancebased upside tied to revenue, GP growth, and strategic milestones Equity: Revenuelinked equity or buyin options for the right longterm hire Hybrid: Sydneybased hybrid model (typically 23 days inoffice) Pathway: Genuine succession pathway to CEO as the founder transitions to a boardfocused role Environment: Highcalibre technical and delivery leadership, strong partner ecosystem, and momentum already in place If youve driven commercial growth in a consulting, digital, cloud, or AIdriven services environment and are ready for a genuinely careerdefining mandate, wed love to speak with you.
