About the Role The General Manager Dredging leads Neumanns Dredging Business Unit, integrating operational delivery and plant support into a unified, highperforming team. This role sets strategic direction, drives commercial performance, and ensures that people, assets, and systems work cohesively to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable outcomes. The GM is accountable for business unit leadership, operational coordination, financial performance, and longterm capability growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the Dredging Business with a longterm, integrated vision that unifies operations and plant into a highperforming, futureready team. Lead a highperforming, unified team that builds capability and consistently delivers safe, efficient, and commercially successful outcomes. Deliver integrated project planning, bringing together dredging and plant teams under a shared execution framework. Lead the full contracting lifecycle for dredging projects from opportunity identification and tendering to execution, delivery, and closeout. Collaborate with internal (Legal, Finance, HSEQ) and external (mines, government, regulators, clients) stakeholders to ensure commercial, statutory, and operational alignment. Proven track record managing both delivery and support functions (e.g., operations and plant maintenance) in complex, safetycritical environments. Deep understanding of dredging and marine operational challenges, including vessel operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, drive high performance, and make effective decisions under pressure. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, marine science, operations, or related fields.
