I have been instructed on a new permanent role working a law firm based at Chancery Lane. The role is working on a 1:1 basis but they will need to some flexibility to assist another solicitor. The hours are 9.30am-5.30pm and they do offer hybrid working (4 days in the office/1 from home) The Role The Department is looking to recruit an experienced and confident secretary to join the team of six secretaries. Your key duties will include, but will not be limited to: Liaising with clients both face to face and over the phone Preparing and sewing/binding deeds and Wills File opening and compliance support Assisting with electronic billing Assisting/supporting solicitors, accountants and other fee earners within the department Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines General administrative duties Diary management Document management Maintaining all filing systems effectively Audio/copy typing, including digital dictation Assisting with electronic bibles Key Skills Passionate and enthusiastic about providing exceptional client service. Experience of SOS Connect, Diktamen, Nuance/Kofax, Teams and iManage would be advantageous Self-motivated and able to organise own work with minimum supervision. Delivers work output to the required standard. Attention to detail and quality of work. Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others and is seen as approachable.
