Employing 5,000 staff, we create life-changing opportunities for students to learn by delivering an extensive range of educational services to over 60,000 aspirational students across our global network each year.So working in our human resources team means youll become part of a dedicated community that extends beyond the classroom, encompassing a wide range of professions.Our global footprint offers you the chance to connect with people from around the world.We''d like to hear from you!Job DescriptionIn this role, you will:Lead the end-to-end management of employee relations and industrial matters across APACAct as the main point of contact for disputes, grievances, and Fair Work or tribunal mattersConduct robust investigations and provide strategic, risk-based advice to stakeholdersManage sensitive termination processes and employee complaints to mitigate business riskProvide expert guidance on workplace conduct, policies, and compliance obligationsDeliver training and uplift capability across the HR and payroll functionsCollaborate with HR Business Partners, WHS, Payroll and Legal to ensure best practiceQualificationsYou''ll thrive in this role if you have:Strong experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing ER disputesA solid understanding of the Australian IR/ER landscape and Fair Work legislationThe ability to navigate union environments and employee representative engagementExcellent judgement, discretion, and communication skills under pressureA proactive, calm and organised approach to complex caseworkA customer-focused mindset and a desire to contribute to continuous improvementExperience working in a fast-paced HR or ER functionHigh emotional intelligence and confidence managing sensitive issuesA sharp eye for detail, strong MS Office skills, and a practical understanding of legislation(Desirable) Tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, Law or a related fieldAdditional InformationWhat we can offerWe offer careers across our global operations.We recognise and reward.We care for you.
