Join to apply for the Staff Specialist Psychiatrist role at Children''s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service. As the Staff Specialist Psychiatrist you will provide child and adolescent psychiatry services as Senior Medical Officer to eCYMHS, though you may be required to undertake other temporary duties as directed by the Medical Director CYMHS, CHQ HHS. About The Team The Integrated Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides complex secondary and tertiary level health care. CYMHS offers specialised mental health services for families with infants, children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems. About The Role In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children''s Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include: Clinical Practice Provision of psychiatric consultation services to eCYMHS. When working in liaison with headspace centres, this includes provision of care to young people up to age 25 years. Availability to conduct initial assessments of children and adolescents, and their families. Conduct regular psychiatric reviews of children and adolescents across eCYMHS.
