Your opportunity Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with the Universitys enterprise architecture vision. Responsibilities Designing and delivering robust enterprise-grade solution architectures that support teaching, research, student services, and operations across all major university domains Leading the integration of core platforms such as TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, Blackboard, Microsoft Teams, and custom applications, ensuring seamless connectivity across all systems Establishing and promoting architectural standards and frameworks that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability across all digital initiatives Providing expert guidance and mentorship to develop teams, driving best practices in solution design, technology selection, and implementation Collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to the university technology roadmap, championing innovation, emerging technologies, and long term strategic planning What you will bring Youre an experienced and forward-thinking Solution Architect with deep technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to problem solving. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy working across multiple business domains, and are passionate about delivering scalable, impactful technology solutions. To succeed in this role, you will also need: A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Ideally 8+ years in technical roles with at least 5 years in solution architecture Proven experience in designing and integrating enterprise platforms including TechnologyOne, Dynamics 365, Blackboard, and Microsoft Teams Strong understanding of solution design patterns, architectural frameworks, and integration practices Demonstrate ability to lead large scale architecture initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, translating business needs into technical strategy A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering real world impact Why Southern Cross University SCU is proudly a regional university, young, small and vibrant.
