High-profile interim leadership role Drive change and uplift across claims risk & compliance Lead a team of 12, reporting to senior executives About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Head of Risk & Compliance to step into a key interim leadership role within a leading financial services organisation. This 4-month contract offers the chance to make a significant impact during a period of organisational change and leadership transition. The role will provide handson leadership of a ~12-person team in the General Insurance claims division, with a focus on driving risk and compliance uplift, embedding frameworks, and ensuring operational resilience. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership of the Risk & Compliance team supporting the Claims function. Drive change initiatives and deliver uplift across compliance, risk frameworks, and assurance. Partner with business leaders to ensure regulatory obligations and governance standards are met. Oversee incident management, control testing, and remediation initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to executives, ensuring a strong risk culture and effective oversight. About You Proven senior leadership experience in Line 1 Risk & Compliance within financial services, ideally insurance or claims. Strong track record of driving change and uplift in governance, frameworks, and compliance programs. Ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Excellent stakeholder management and executive influencing skills. Availability to commence quickly in a 4month contract role.
