Reporting to the CEO, the role of the CFO is to oversee the day-to-day operations and financial management of the asset management business which structures and administers specialist, niche financing solutions across different industries and asset classes. This position is the strategic and daily leader of the Finance team, working closely with the CEO and other functional leaders in executing the financial objectives of the business. Critical to the success of this role will be partnering with the other functional heads in Sales, Risk, Asset Management and Product to ensure the efficient running of the business through effective collaboration and information sharing practices. Location Brisbane Career Experience Deep strategic financial management experience gained in a high growth corporate environment. A proven track record in managing and developing a finance team across the functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial and management reporting, statutory and tax compliance. A proven track record of successfully leading compliance and risk activities with strong business engagement, including developing and implementing risk frameworks, policies, and procedures. Developing and embedding a set of objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets and effectively driving accountability across a team to deliver. Desirable Exposure to finance leadership roles within the fund management sector. Understand AFSL risk and regulations in Australia / New Zealand, and translate regulation into risk management practices.
