An exciting opportunity for an experienced chief officer has become available on our premium private motor yacht. A 50m+ Superyacht is looking for a suitable chief officer to join the vessel in S/E Queensland starting immediately. The role would include a 3-month probationary period and potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. Upcoming itinerary would include New Zealand, Sydney and the Whitsundays in Queensland. Certification Requirements: STCW II/2 Chief Mate GMDSS General Operators Certificate. STCW Basic & Advanced Fire Fighting. Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB). Medical Certificate (ENG1 or AMSA). ECDIS certification. Additional Requirements: Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent situational awareness and risk management. Advanced passage planning and navigation knowledge. Calm under pressure and effective in emergencies. High level of professionalism and integrity. Ability to train, lead, and motivate crew.
