OverviewAbout the CompanyWe have partnered with a specialist commercial law firm with expertise in supporting banking and finance clients. The practice supports businesses across Australia and New Zealand with loan documentation, enforcement, dispute management and end-to-end recovery work. They pride themselves on efficient processes and high output standards, offering a focused, fast-paced environment where quality, professionalism and client service are front and centre. The company has grown largely due to word of mouth and have established themselves as a trusted partner, and are looking to build a sophisticated marketing function to support continued growth.About the RoleThe Head of Marketing will be required to bring process and guidance to the business by creating a clear marketing strategy over the short and long term, working with a small internal team and external agencies to execute. This person will work with the founder on his business vision and support the Business Development Manager in lead generation and sales support materials to drive brand awareness and consistency in market. This person will think outside the box when it comes to campaigns and activities, both on and offline, and create a clear marketing calendar to follow. In future, they will build out the team, but in the short term they will review and introduce new agency partnerships to facilitate consistent marketing activities.About YouYou must bring broad marketing skillset and the confidence to build a function from the ground up. The role requires someone who can set up structure and process, lead a growing team, and still pivot quickly as business priorities shift, all while shaping a clear long term strategy. Experience doing this in a smaller organisation is highly valued, particularly where you can show how your work drove commercial outcomes and strengthened organisational capability. Professional services experience is preferred, especially exposure to financial services or the legal sector, or demonstrated success establishing a marketing function within a B2B services environment.
