Now, were looking for a Club General Manager (CGM) for our thriving club in Aspley. The Role As Club General Manager, youll be the driving force behind the clubs success. Youll oversee performance, operations, and member experiencecreating a thriving environment that delivers results, inspires members, and grows an engaged community. Working closely with our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers, and Directors, youll be empowered to shape the future of your club. Key Responsibilities Launch and lead a brandnew club, setting the tone for culture, performance, and community. Manage budgets, financials, and retention strategies to deliver strong growth and success. Oversee operations across all areasincluding crche, retail & apparel, and caf. Recruit, train, and inspire a highperforming team from the ground up. Mentor and motivate department heads through weekly meetings and ongoing coaching. Ensure our worldclass facilities are maintained to the highest standard. Lead club events and initiativesfrom Open Days to 8Week Challengesthat build energy and connection. Deliver clear reporting, analysis, and communication to drive continuous improvement. What Youll Bring Proven leadership in a large Big Box gym (20+ staff, 2,000+ members). Experience working in a KPIdriven environment, with a natural drive to exceed targets. A peoplefirst approachable to connect with members and inspire staff alike. A growth mindset, strong sales skills, and a genuine passion for health & fitness. A problemsolving, solutionfocused attitude with resilience and adaptability. Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to lead by example. Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain). Full Australian working rights.
