Principal Electrical Engineer ACOR Consultants is a national, employeeowned engineering consulting firm offering a full range of specialist engineering services across multiple sectors. We have a proven track record of successfully delivering largescale multidiscipline projects as well as smaller niche assignments. Sydney, New South Wales, Australia | Salary: A$120,000.00 - A$140,000.00 About the role Our Sydney office is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to provide leadership and project delivery expertise. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of key projects, both locally and on a national level, and for providing project leadership and strategic support. The successful candidate will have proven engineering leadership experience and hold a CPEng qualification. Experience working on key healthcare or defence projects is preferred and will be highly regarded. Duties & Responsibilities Representing ACOR with existing and new clients to help develop the business Attracting new clients to ACOR Increasing ACOR capability Managing a team including leading and mentoring staff Continuous staff training and development of the team Providing general project oversight and advice to staff working on projects Maintaining quality control procedures Consistently achieving reasonable monthly budget targets Preparing fee proposals and tracking time, budget, invoicing and cash flow are appropriately managed Seeking and developing new business opportunities Assisting in the development of delivery strategies to develop and expand markets Skills and Experience University engineering degree or equivalent, recognised by Engineers Australia Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia Site induction training card (white card) Previous experience within an engineering consultancy or equivalent Strong business development skills High level of project management and technical ability within the electrical discipline Highly developed engineering and assessment skills Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Benefits of ACOR Attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience Ongoing professional learning & development Structured career pathways Paid Parental leave Worklife balance in a flexible and inclusive environment Regular social events and fundraising activities Discounts on everyday products and services 100% employeeowned company EEO & Inclusion We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment as an equalopportunity employer and promote a workplace culture that is inclusive, safe, and respectful.
