The Role This is a key leadership role shaping Gentaris culture in raising the bar on how clean energy is delivered within Australian communities to Australian consumers. As part of the global delivery team, your task is to bring our solar and storage projects into reality. You and your team will be responsible for the overall management of the delivery of our large-scale utility projects, taking them from Final Investment Decision, design, construction and to operational handover. Your impact: Lead the teams managing the execution of renewable energy projects including project and construction managers, engineers, and HSE personnel ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective delivery. Ensure that learnings and expertise from project delivery are input into developments, acquisitions and operational projects. Provide pricing and construction schedule inputs to the development team. Manage EPC and BoP contracts, including procurement, negotiations, and technical reviews. Implement systems, best practices, and operating cadences. Oversee construction contracts, milestones, and change management. Report on key milestones, risks and roadblocks, providing regular updates to management and the executive team in Malaysia. Build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and government bodies. Ensure compliance with Gentaris safety, environmental, and quality standards are adhered to across all project sites, and that our commitments to community and other stakeholders are met. What you bring: Proven experience managing large utility scale, oil & gas, and/or energy infrastructure project delivery in Australia. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including reporting to CEOs and boards of directors. Expertise in project management, risk management, and contract negotiation. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and anticipate issues before they arise. Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution skills and ability to manage teams across multiple projects.
