This new partnership provides MPower with the financial strength and strategic backing to accelerate its project pipeline and deliver a growing portfolio of high-quality distributed energy projects across Australia.Together, MPower and Wollemi bring the technical capability, investment power, and long-standing industry relationships to play a leading role in Australia''s clean energy future.About the RoleReporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Development and Acquisitions will lead MPower''s development division and drive the growth of its renewable energy portfolio through both greenfield development and strategic acquisition opportunities.Youll oversee end-to-end project development, from origination through to ready-to-build status, whilst also managing the acquisition of projects that align with MPowers strategic objectives.This is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape MPowers development strategy, lead a high-performing team, and play a pivotal role in delivering Australias clean energy transition.QualificationsBachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline.Demonstrated success managing renewable energy projects from concept to ready-to-build.Strong commercial acumen and handson experience in project acquisition, due diligence, and transaction execution.Skilled in navigating planning, permitting, and regulatory frameworks in the Australian energy sector.Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and motivate crossfunctional teams.Why Join MPower?This is a rare opportunity to join a growing Australian renewable energy company at an exciting stage of expansion, backed by significant investment from Wollemi Energy Group.
