OverviewAs a Data Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and technical implementation of SG Fleets data platform strategy aligned with business objectives. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, and the implementation and management of data warehouses, data lake and data analytics systems.ResponsibilitiesProvide expertise in designing, creating, deploying and managing SG Fleets data architecture.Define how data should be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data.Express strategic data requirements, outline highlevel integrated designs to meet these requirements, and align with organisational strategy and related business architecture.Establish and continuously improve efficient operating models to support a global, federated, domainoriented data and analytics organisation.Establish and continuously improve guidelines and guardrails to support governance of quality, nonfunctional requirements, security and adherence to architectural standards.Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organisation.Collaborate with platform and solution delivery architects to ensure the data analytics platform architecture serves the ongoing and strategic business objectives of multiple lines of business.Provide guidance and continuously review data and analytics solution designs across delivery teams to ensure consistent implementations of architecture standards and scalability of technical solutions.Skills and ExperienceEssentialsProven experience in data/application architecture, Cloud Solutions with emerging technologies, Big Data, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.Extensive experience in data modelling (Relational, Dimensional, Star Schema, OLAP Cubes, and Bus Matrix Mapping).Ability to manage large data sets, cloud computing, opensource tools, and optimization techniques.Background in data and analytics initiatives in enterprise environments.Handson experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Delta Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics.Understanding of modern data architecture and experience with core data services like data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, relational and dimensional modelling, data quality and master data management.DesirableBroad business experience in complex enterprise environments, ideally within financial services and/or logistics.Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).BenefitsRecharge and relax with up to four extra days of leave each year (Wellness days).Industryleading 20 weeks of paid parental leave.Vehicle salary packaging options to save costs.Monetary service milestone awards.Recruitment referral bonus.Discounted mobility products and services.Flexible work arrangements.Career progression opportunities.Education support with an individual learning budget per year, free access to LinkedIn Learning and more.Two paid volunteer days each year to support causes that matter to you.Health and wellbeing support including a subsidy and an Employee Assistance Program.Whats NextWere an equalopportunity employer.
