Join the Team As the Head of 1:1 Marketing, youll take the lead in shaping the strategy, operations and future direction of our personalised customer engagement program across email, push notifications, inapp messaging, content cards and SMS. Your work will drive both immediate commercial performance and longterm customer value deepening loyalty, encouraging omnichannel behaviour and increasing digital adoption. Youll guide a marketleading CRM and personalisation capability, ensuring customers receive timely, relevant and meaningful experiences across every owned channel. This includes uplifting BAU programs, enabling datadriven and AIpowered journeys, and building a multiyear transformation roadmap that unlocks new levels of personalisation. This is a senior leadership role where youll safeguard and grow one of our most valuable assets our customer database. Youll collaborate closely with Insights, Data, Technology, Product and Online teams to ensure customer engagement is cohesive, impactful and seamlessly integrated into the broader customer experience. What Youll Be Doing Setting and executing the longterm strategy for 1:1 marketing, including CRM, lifecycle communications and personalised customer journeys. Developing a transformation roadmap that enhances direct marketing, personalisation and martech capabilities. Overseeing bestinclass campaign execution across email, SMS, push, inapp messaging and content cards. Elevating BAU programs while accelerating innovation through advanced segmentation, dynamic content and realtime triggers. Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team to foster a highperformance, customercentric and dataliterate culture. Owning commercial outcomes, including the P&L for direct marketing and all associated performance metrics. Partnering crossfunctionally to align journeys, offers, data models and digital experiences across channels. Ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and championing ethical, transparent data use. To Be Successful in This Role, Youll Have Proven experience leading CRM, lifecycle or 1:1 marketing teams in a complex, datarich environment. Deep capability in personalisation, segmentation, marketing automation and building realtime or AIdriven customer journeys. Strength in developing longterm strategic roadmaps and driving multiyear transformation. Expertise across direct marketing channels, with a track record of improving engagement, conversion and customer value. Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting and performance optimisation. Ability to build highperforming teams and embed a culture of experimentation, testing and continuous improvement. Demonstrated success partnering with Data, Technology, Product, Loyalty or Online teams to deliver integrated customer experiences. Sound understanding of data governance and privacy frameworks, with a commitment to responsible data use.
