We operate 26 hospitals and services comprising more than 3300 hospital beds including home nursing disability services and social outreach programs. We are seeking a highly capable and trusted professional to partner with the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) in driving organisational performance transformation and stewardship. This pivotal role provides strategic and operational support to the GCEO assisting with the preparation of high-quality papers and presentations sourcing critical information and monitoring key actions and outcomes across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Support the GCEO in leading organisational improvement and stewardship initiatives. Develop, update and implement governance frameworks and related GCEO documentation. Contribute to system-wide performance monitoring, risk management and improvement opportunities. Analyse performance challenges through stakeholder engagement data insights and process reviews to develop actionable solutions. Prepare accurate and insightful reports, board papers and presentations to inform executive decisionmaking. Research and apply best practice approaches to enhance organisational performance. Act as a key liaison between the GCEO, Executive Committee, CEOs and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities. Influence and support a culture of accountability, collaboration and performance across the organisation. Lead crossfunctional working groups on complex highimpact organisational priorities. Build trusted relationships with executives and senior leaders, serving as a respected and reliable representative of the GCEO. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in commerce, business or a related discipline or possess significant experience in performance improvement within a large and complex organisation. You will bring a sound understanding of project management methodologies particularly those applied to performance and transformation initiatives along with a solid working knowledge of hospitals and the healthcare sector. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills are essential, as is the ability to analyse complex information, think strategically and solve problems effectively. You will demonstrate strong organisational and timemanagement capabilities, a proactive approach to driving and influencing positive change and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
