This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned leader with deep expertise in NDIS practice and developmental disability to drive quality, compliance, safety and personcentred outcomes for people with disability. The Head of Practice leads a dedicated team to oversee the operational delivery of Individualised Living Options (ILO), respite, and community participation (CP) services, ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, and alignment with NDIS Practice Standards. The Role As Head of Practice, you will oversee service delivery, ensure compliance, efficiency, and best practice. You will lead the Practice and Compliance teams to achieve participant goals, drive engagement, and optimise safe processes. You will support the Chief Executive Officer to achieve organisational objectives and ensure alignment with our core values and strategic vision, whilst adhering to NDIS standards and DCP requirements. Reporting to the CEO, your duties will include: Contribute to strategic engagement for the organisation. Oversee programs with a focus on compliance and quality. Coordinate successful audits and assessments. Establish, monitor, measure, and report on key criteria. Report on performance and areas for improvement. Foster proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and ongoing engagement with organisational progress and priorities. Lead and develop teams and individuals to foster a positive, culturally safe, highperformance, and participantfocused culture. About you To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Experience overseeing teams tasked with keeping adults, children, and young people with disability safe, whilst providing highquality care. Extensive experience/knowledge of complex autism and developmental delay. Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS and DCP frameworks and standards. An understanding of the NFP sector and the delivery of impactful services. Passion for advocacy, social impact, and empowering individuals with disabilities. Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role (minimum degree in disability, health, or community services). Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing supported independent living, respite services, and community programs. Proven success in direct management of culturally diverse teams. Eligibility to work in Australia. Both an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and a Working with Children Check (WWCC). A full and unencumbered drivers licence. National Police Clearance.
