As a Director of Cyber Delivery & Transformation, an essential position for cybersecurity strategy implementation at Optus. Lead the full delivery of projects and initiatives, connecting strategic goals to practical actions. What Youll Do | Your day to day will consist of Provide strategic direction and prioritisation across projects to optimise delivery capacity. Coordinate the planning, coordination, and execution of programs/projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Lead and manage a team of Delivery Leads, Senior PMs, PMs, and/or Program Managers, encouraging their growth and development through training, feedback, and career opportunities. Establish guardrails and frameworks to enforce delivery standards for cyberled and BUled projects. Drive the implementation of systems and technologies to improve security posture. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams ensuring integration of cybersecurity solutions across business units. Formulate and supervise the budget for cybersecurity projects, ensuring optimal resource management and compliance with financial boundaries. What You Bring | What makes you perfect for the role? Tertiary qualification in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field with cyber security certifications preferred. 8+ years of experience in project or delivery management with at least 5+ years in cybersecurity roles. Proven experience in leading the delivery of cybersecurity programs in complex environments. Strong project management skills with an understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Outstanding leadership and communication capabilities in managing diverse teams and effectively communicating with interested parties and executives. Experience with implementation of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. The good stuff. | Whats in it for you?
