The Role This newly created CFO position marks a defining moment in the companys evolution. Reporting to the CEO and partnering with investors eager to fund growth, youll take full ownership of the finance function, leading its transition from an outsourced model to a bestpractice inhouse capability. Youll oversee everything from financial control and statutory reporting through to commercial decision support and strategic planning. Day to day, that means: Rebuilding the finance platform to meet the needs of a growing, capitalbacked business Leading budgeting, forecasting, provisioning and funding analysis with precision and insight Partnering with operations and executives to influence commercial outcomes Overseeing system improvements to connect data, reporting and automation Mentoring a small, dedicated team and developing succession dept Its equal parts strategy and execution, the perfect role for someone who loves turning a good business into a great one. About You Youre a finance leader who thrives on building, not maintaining. Youve modernised systems, fixed broken processes and shaped finance functions into credible, insightdriven partners to the business. Youll bring a background in financial services, capitalbacked or highly regulated industries. Youll have experience operating within a governanceheavy environment with external stakeholders or investors, strength in modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis, proven success driving systems transformation and automation, and a collaborative, steady leadership style that earns trust quickly. Youre commercially minded, grounded and confident without ego, someone who can quietly raise the bar. Skills & Experience Membership to a professional accounting body (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) 10+ years in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within financial, servicebased or capitalintensive industries. Strong technical base in financial control, audit readiness and cashflow management. Demonstrated ability to design and implement fitforpurpose finance systems and processes. Proven business partner with executive and investorlevel communication skills.
