Tech and Data Lead Position Summary The Tech and Data Lead will drive the organization''s technology strategy and data initiatives, ensuring the technology stack supports business goals. The role owns core platforms such as CRM, portfolio management systems, and data platforms, guaranteeing they are robust, integrated, and aligned with strategy. It facilitates collaboration with stakeholders across IT, legal, compliance, HR, operations, marketing, product and executive leadership to enable trusted, compliant data usage and support datadriven decisionmaking. Location: Sydney, New South Wales or Melbourne, Victoria. Primary Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of core technology, applications and platforms. Oversee and optimize CRM systems, portfolio systems, and data platforms, ensuring data integrity, user adoption, and system efficiency. Collaborate with Focus Financial Partners to comply with best practices in cybersecurity, privacy and data protection. Lead, mentor, and scale technology teams. Evaluate and implement new tools, software and cloud solutions to improve scalability, automation and performance. Translate complex technology findings into clear, actionable insights and visualizations for technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Oversee data analysis, engineering, reporting and business intelligence to drive insights. Manage technology and data project lifecycles from concept to delivery, ensuring milestones and quality standards are met. Ensure data is collected, structured and governed effectively across all systems. Standardize key metrics and data definitions for consistency, security and integrity. Serve as primary owner of the organization''s CRM and other systems, managing configuration, upgrades and enhancements. Partner with internal teams to support reusability of data models, workflows, automation and reporting capabilities. Manage vendor relationships and oversee user training and documentation. Qualifications Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Proven experience managing and integrating CRM and other systems. Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles. Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.) and data tools (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, etc.). Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Annualized base pay of A$260,000A$290,000 + super, with variable total compensation including annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
