Software Engineering Manager Honeywell North Ryde, New South Wales, Australia Join Honeywell as a Software Engineering Manager and lead a highperformance engineering team in developing building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms. In this role you will drive the success and growth of the company by delivering highquality products and solutions, guiding engineers, and executing engineering strategies aligned with Honeywells product vision. Responsibilities Build and maintain high performance software engineering teams Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high quality products and solutions, guiding their growth and holding them accountable to best practices Develop and execute engineering strategies to drive business growth and meet customer requirements Set the technical vision and longterm roadmap for multiple teams, ensuring alignment with the companys overall strategy and product vision Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project execution Provide handson technical guidance for complex architectural designs, code quality and mentorship to team members Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity Act as an escalation point for production/customer issues and lead the team through resolution in a timely manner Communicate effectively with stakeholders businesswide Work well with product managers and other teams to achieve the best outcomes given a number of constraints Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills, ability to lead, mentor, and motivate large engineering teams Strong technical acumen in Architecture, Design skills for Windows and web applications Strong background in .NET, C# Strong technical skills, engaging with senior architects to contribute to technical plans and designs Experience with SOA, microservice and containerisation architecture Experience working in agile team environment, continuously shipping solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences Knowledge of Buildings domain in BMS (Access, Fire, HVAC and Video) and Projects & Services business model is highly valued Cloud computing experience, preferably Azure Experience with modern Javascript frameworks, preferably React, is highly valued Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer and we support a diverse workforce.
