The area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities. They are currently seeking a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join the team. You will provide both inpatient and community based services and have extensive teaching and research responsibilities. Responsibilities Demonstrated ability to make a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and provide treatment for patients with serious mental illness and mental health problems. Ability to provide medical leadership in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in teaching, evaluation and research. Excellent clinical variety.
