The teams Litigation Counsel act as solicitor on the record and are responsible for the conduct of many of ASICs highprofile civil litigation regulatory matters in the High Court, Federal Court and State Supreme Courts. The team also manages external law firms engaged to act for ASIC, provides guidance on litigation strategy and case theories, and supports internal investigation teams. Recent examples include: ASICs enforcement actions against financial services providers, crypto exchange operators, and large consumerconcerned cases. About You We are seeking experienced senior litigation lawyers to the positions of Litigation Counsel and Senior Lawyer within ASICs Legal Services team. Were Looking For Lawyers With Significant commercial/regulatory litigation experience, admission to practice in the High Court, Federal Court and State Supreme Courts; Litigation Counsel applicants require unrestricted practising certificates and experience managing complex litigation and leading teams. Strong technical legal skills and ability to provide strategic direction in regulatory litigation matters. Excellent communication skills with influence across audiences and highlevel organisational skills. A commitment to providing superior client service. A real interest in making a difference through important regulatory litigation with a consumer protection focus.
