The position will be based between our Clare Moore Building, Werribee Mercy Hospital and the Wyndham Community Clinic in Hoppers Crossing. This 54 bed adult acute psychiatrist inpatient unit is very well supported with six consultant psychiatrist and an evergrowing JMO workforce and robust registrar training program. The community component of this job includes managing our brief intervention service together with a registrar. Qualifications Registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA) Extensive experience in working effectively with consumers who have psychosocial mental health needs Experience in the identification and management of a range of mental health issues including psychosis, anxiety, depression, complex posttraumatic stress disorder and risk issues Autonomy, organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or (or working towards) To thrive in this role, you will have Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
