Role Overview Anglicare Central Queensland (AnglicareCQ) is currently seeking two independent voluntary Non-Executive Directors with knowledge of notforprofits organisations and Central Queensland to join our Board. The Board meets approximately six times per year to set the organisations strategic direction, monitor performance and proactively manage risk. Responsibilities Set the organisations strategic direction. Monitor performance. Proactively manage risk. Attend board meetings approximately six times per year. Qualifications and Experience Applicants with expertise in one or more of the following fields are highly regarded: Financial Performance and Risk Management Community Services Strategy and Policy Housing Development Mandatory Requirements Ability to obtain a Directors ID. Ability to obtain a Blue Card (Working with Children Check Positive Notice or Exemption). Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (Disability Services Positive Notice or Exemption Notice). Application for a Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check.
