What youll do As our new Chief Risk Officer, youll lead and elevate the risk and compliance function across our major brands, including LEAP Legal Software and InfoTrack. Youll refine and mature our enterprise risk framework, uplift controls and reporting, modernise systems, and build a scalable, highperforming capability for a global SaaS group. Reporting to the Group CFO, youll play a pivotal role in preparing ATI for an ASX listing within the next 1824 months. This is a handson leadership role covering all major tech risk categories where youll influence globally, partner with executives across regions, and help shape the governance foundations of one of Australias next major listed tech companies. To make this happen, you will: Lead the enterprise risk strategy and embed a strong risk culture across a fastmoving SaaS and legaltech environment. Define and manage the companys risk appetite, ensuring alignment with regulatory, data privacy, and clientdriven requirements. Own risk identification and assessment, including cybersecurity, data protection, AI/ML risks, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain the risk framework, including risk registers, dashboards, controls, and incident response processes. Partner with product, engineering, security, and legal to manage risks across product development, integrations, and customer deployments. Strengthen internal controls and oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, and vendor risk management. Ensure compliance across jurisdictions, particularly relating to data privacy, legal practice management, and cloud security standards. Provide clear, actionable risk reporting to the CFO and executive team. Lead and mentor the risk and compliance team, shaping capabilities that support rapid scale and evolving client expectations. What youll bring Senior experience in governance, risk and compliance within a complex, multientity organisation ideally as a 2IC ready to step up into your first CROlevel role. Background in a listed company or highly regulated environment, with a strong understanding of ASXlevel expectations, reporting standards and risk protocols. Experience in a services or technologyled business (e.g., SaaS, fintech, banking, finance, information services) with solid exposure to cybersecurity and technology risk. Proven ability to uplift and mature an enterprise risk framework refining processes, improving controls, modernising systems and introducing automation or new platforms. Experience working in a multinational organisation (ANZ, UK, North America) and navigating varied regulatory, operational and business environments. You are the type of person who Is strong in stakeholder engagement, with the credibility and communication skills to influence senior leaders across multiple regions and diverse personalities. Has a handson, pragmatic approach comfortable being the doer while also building out a small team as the function scales.
