The role As General Manager Financial Reporting and Partnering, you will play a critical leadership role in guiding the Branch to deliver high-value financial management services, including financial planning, budgeting, analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. You will also support the Director of Finance in setting strategic direction, shaping operational and technology priorities, and contributing to the overall stewardship of the Finance Directorate. Your success in this position will be contingent upon your extensive experience leading contemporary financial management, reporting (including annual accounts and audit processes), budgeting, and analytical services within a medium to large government organisation, as well as your knowledge of business intelligence and data management initiatives. A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing teamwhile fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and service excellencewill be essential. Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities, including demonstrated experience in analysing emerging issues, identifying trends and assessing risks to inform future policy decisions and service delivery outcomes will also be imperative to your effectiveness in the role.
