Clinical Nurse - Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Join to apply for the Clinical Nurse - Gastroenterology/Day Procedures role at Ramsay Health Care. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Clinical Nurse. This is an advanced level Registered Nurse role, acting as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in, the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation, inservice and clinical programs. About The Role The Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Unit department at Greenslopes Private Hospital provides gastroenterology and minor procedure care across ten procedural rooms. The recently completed $7million expansion and redevelopment project increased the total number of operating theatres/procedural areas to ten with two new theatres and seven additional recovery bays. The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role. About You You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience as an Anaesthetics Nurse. While leadership or management experience within a clinical setting will be highly desirable, this role will also suit an experienced Nurse looking to step up. Essential Qualifications Minimum three (3) years postgrad clinical experience in Anaesthetics Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (highly regarded) Remuneration Base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
