What Youll Be Doing As our Production Manager, youll take full ownership of Caspers kitchen operations, leading the team to consistently produce exceptional products. Your role will be pivotal in driving efficiency, ensuring quality, and fostering a positive team culture. Your Key Responsibilities Lead the entire savoury and sweet production process from start to finish, ensuring excellence in every batch. Work closely with the kitchen team to streamline daily production and maintain top-tier quality control. Uphold and record all HACCP standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Oversee plant and machinery operations, proactively planning maintenance to minimize downtime. Manage rosters, hiring and team performance, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles. Motivate and coach the team, holding daily toolbox meetings to keep production on track. Monitor and optimise labour costs, productivity, and efficiency to meet KPIs. Implement double-check systems for count accuracy and ensure seamless stock control. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, identifying new ways to boost performance. Work closely with the CEO, providing daily updates and insights to drive the business forward. Who Were Looking For We need a natural leader with a passion for food production and operational excellence. Youll be the driving force behind our kitchen, packing and overall team, ensuring theyre motivated, supported and delivering exceptional results every day. Your Skills & Experience Cert 4 in Cookery and/or Baking (or equivalent experience). Advanced knowledge of food production processes, particularly in baking and pastry. A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills. The ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team. HACCP certification and a strong understanding of food safety.
