Your work will contribute to the delivery of secure, compliant and reliable systems that support the ATOs business objectives.You will lead, influence and actively communicate the strategic and technical direction for cyber security across the ATO. Youll drive change and continuous improvement in our cyber resilience capabilities, while managing threats and risks to safeguard our people, information, assets and services.You will ensure appropriate security standards and IT security controls are implemented in accordance with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Youll also propose and implement new security capabilities to meet organisational requirements, strategic objectives and ensure compliance with government security policies.In addition to your technical leadership, you will engage with internal stakeholders and IT service providers to ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and ATO policy obligations. Youll develop robust policy and strategic advice that supports adherence to security frameworks and protects ATO and taxpayer information.You will also lead and deliver cyber education and awareness initiatives to foster a positive security culture across the organisation and the APS.These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Burnie, Canberra, Melbourne CBD or Wollongong.
