My Guardian is growing their portfolio of Residential Care, and we are now seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to join our leadership team and lead our residential aged care services into the next chapter of innovation and excellence. About the Role This pivotal role will provide strategic and operational leadership across all My Guardian residential aged care facilities, ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance, compliance, and service excellence. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the performance, culture, and care delivery of our existing site, while playing a key role in the development and integration of new facilities as we expand. Working closely with our founding executives, you will drive quality outcomes, lead a multidisciplinary team, and shape the long-term strategic direction of our residential aged care services. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership across all residential aged care sites. Oversee facility performance, budgets, resourcing, and clinical governance. Lead accreditation, compliance, and continuous improvement frameworks. Drive service expansion through new developments, acquisitions, tenders, and grants. Manage incidents, risks, and complaints with transparency and accountability. Build and lead a values-driven, high-performing workforce. Foster strong partnerships with families, regulators, and community stakeholders. Champion resident wellbeing, satisfaction, and personalised care delivery. About You You are a seasoned leader in residential aged care or health services, known for your integrity, strategic mindset, and deep commitment to quality care. You bring proven executive or senior management experience within the aged care sector and are confident leading complex services through change and growth. Extensive leadership experience in residential aged care or a related health field. Strong understanding of the aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and compliance frameworks. Demonstrated success in operational management, budgeting, and workforce leadership. Experience in accreditation processes, incident management, and governance systems. Exceptional interpersonal, stakeholder, and communication skills. Experience in leading service growth, acquisitions, or tender submissions. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Management. Registration with AHPRA (if clinically qualified).
