In-house | High-growth omni-channel retailer | Scale paid performance | Permanent An exciting opportunity has opened for a growth-hacker focused Head of Paid Performance Marketing to join a leading omni-channel retailer to elevate their paid performance marketing efforts to the next level. Reporting into senior leadership, you will own the paid performance marketing strategy and execution building revenue-led budget frameworks, scaling high-performing structures, and accelerating customer acquisition and profitability. You will operate well beyond standard playbooks, using deep analytics, rigorous experimentation, and strong commercial judgement to unlock new growth pathways and push performance into its next frontier. Key Responsibilities Own and scale paid media strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok and additional channels, managing $25M+ annual budgets with strong ROAS and consistent YoY growth. Drive full-funnel performance for both DTC eCommerce and in-store traffic, optimising campaigns, audiences, creative and bidding structures. Launch new products through paid channels alone, leveraging rapid experimentation, data-driven insights, and a growth-mindset. Implement advanced attribution frameworks to measure revenue across channels and guide confident decisions in imperfect data environments. Lead creative strategy for performance ads, guiding video, design, influencer and UGC partners to produce high-performing concepts. Oversee global expansion through paid media, adapting strategies for new regions and product ranges. Develop and run high-upside performance experiments, unlocking new growth levers and refining scaling thresholds, ROAS, incrementality and marginal returns. Stay ahead of AI-driven ad innovations (PMAX, Advantage+, Andromeda) and translate platform changes into competitive advantage. Lead and grow a high-performing team, fostering a culture of experimentation, ownership, and continuous improvement. Manage cross-functional stakeholders with clarity, collaboration, and strategic alignment. What Were Looking For 6+ years experience in Paid Media Performance Marketing (strong DTC eCommerce essential with experience driving measurable in-store foot traffic from digital) Proven success scaling significant paid budgets, maintaining profitable ROAS and strong baseline growth, without sole reliance on sales events Managed $25M+ annual paid budgets exclusively across Meta, Google, YouTube and TikTok (and achieved significant YoY growth 30% 50%) Successful experience with global expansion through paid performance marketing channels History of proposing and executing calculated, high-upside performance experiments You have worked with large multi-SKU catalogues OR broad product ranges Growth-hacker mind-set, balanced entrepreneurial agility with disciplined processes Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust attribution systems that track revenue across multiple channels, platforms, and customer touch points. Deep hands-on mastery and understanding of algorithm behaviours for Meta & Google paid advertising (Search, PMAX, YouTube), optimisation, campaign architecture, audiences, creative iteration, bidding, scaling. Proven ability to launch new products through paid channels alone without reliance on brand or ATL support Strong creative judgement, guiding video and design teams on hooks, pacing, storytelling, aesthetic and performance frameworks Proven experience in incorporating ads created in partnerships with influencers and UGC content creators. In conjunction with having a great understanding of briefing best practices for each type of collaborations. Comfortable operating with imperfect attribution and using triangulated insights across platforms, experiments, and blended metrics to make confident performance decisions Strong grounding in performance fundamentals: ROAS, marginal ROAS, incrementality, scaling thresholds and other critical growth metrics Up to date with AI-driven advertising developments (PMAX, Andromeda, Advantage+) and able to convert innovation into performance advantage Additional Paid Channels knowledge / experience (highly desirable) Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams during high-growth phases You are an empowering, supportive leader that sets high-performance expectations with genuine care.
