OverviewJoin to apply for the Sr. Director, Sales role at WestRock Company.Career Opportunity: The Sr. Director of Sales will be responsible for covering 7 plant sales teams in Ohio, Kentucky and surrounding areas. You will lead and manage the Sales organization to maintain and grow profitable revenue streams for the area with 500 million plus annually in sales. You will be responsible for understanding the profitability of your area related to base, growth, attrition analysis, and year over year account progress. In addition, you will work closely with the area manufacturing teams to understand and sell open machine capacity and value-added capabilities.How You Will Impact WestRock:Lead the Sales team to deliver results by executing on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsDrive Commercial Excellence to exceed regional volume and profit goals through new account development within targeted market segments, growth in existing accounts, margin improvement plans and enterprise sales supportSupport area Leadership in developing the annual budget targets for each account contributing forecasted revenue based upon yearly sales trends and current pipelineMonitor profitability levels to track progress against budgeted targets and analyze monthly financial summaries for the business unitUnderstand market dynamics and business drivers that define long-term commercial strategies and have an impact on their region; develop strategies to reach company objectivesMotivate and align Sales team and Business Resource Managers to the Play to Win strategy and maximize sales and volume growthConduct performance reviews and career development plans for Sales Representatives and Business Resource ManagersDevelop working relationships with other WestRock facilities to create opportunities for additional revenue streams across the enterprise capabilitiesWhat You Need to SucceedBachelors degree from an accredited university5 years of business-to-business (B2B) Sales experience in a manufacturing/service industry with management or coaching responsibility5+ years of packaging related experience in sales execution and pipeline managementProven track record of leadership and decision-making skills to achieve goals and objectivesStrong written and verbal communication skillsDrive results through others and adjust coaching methods, as neededCreate and deliver engaging presentations to internal and external audiencesDemonstrate sales competence and financial acumenDetailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: SalesIndustries: Packaging and Containers ManufacturingNote: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at WestRock Company by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
