This role can be based from anywhere in Australia.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Director of Sales for our Ascott Australia brands to lead and manage a talented team of sales experts. Your mission will be to design and execute innovative sales strategies that maximize revenue, strengthen market positioning, and deliver exceptional results for our growing portfolio.You will oversee the sales performance of Quest Apartment Hotels, Citadines, Lyf and Oakwood properties located in key destinations across Australia, playing a pivotal role in shaping the companys growth and supporting the successful launch and operation of new properties.This role is based at our hybrid working location in Collingwood, where our flexible work culture encourages collaboration and engagement in person 3 days per week. Our commitment to excellence, guest satisfaction, and strategic growth makes us a trusted name in the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement sales strategies across Ascott Australia to achieve revenue and market share targets.Collaborate with senior leadership and regional teams to develop shortand longterm sales plans aligned with business objectives.Mentor and manage a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.Drive business development initiatives, including corporate partnerships, group bookings, and longstay solutions.Support the opening and rampup of new properties, ensuring strong market entry and sustainable growth.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Key RequirementsExtensive experience in hospitality sales leadership, with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.Strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and lead a team in a fastpaced, resultsdriven environment.Strong understanding of the Australian hospitality markets, including key trends and challenges.Demonstrated success in building relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and key stakeholders.Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a peoplefirst approach and alignment to company values.Prior experience in team development, succession planning, and performance management.Why Join Us?This is a rare opportunity to take on a senior leadership role in a fastgrowing, highperformance organization.
