General Manager Aged Care | Bunbury WA Full Time | up to 20% STI Bonus We are partnering with a leading national aged care provider to recruit an exceptional General Manager for a well-established 60+ bed Care Community located in Bunbury, Western Australia Why this opportunity? ? Lead a stable Care Community with excellent potential for growth and development The Role As the General Manager, you will lead the Care Community across all operational, cultural, commercial, and clinical performance areas. You will champion a positive workplace culture, deliver exceptional resident outcomes, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and organisational standards. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain an inclusive, high-performance culture. Be a visible, values-aligned leader who inspires, coaches and supports the team. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. Care & Service Excellence Ensure residents receive personalised, high-quality care that meets all physical, emotional, social and cultural needs. Maintain compliance with aged care standards, policies, and accreditation requirements. Respond promptly and constructively to resident and family feedback. Workforce Management Plan staffing requirements and ensure the right people are in the right roles. Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing development. Drive retention through coaching, recognition, and succession planning. Commercial & Operational Leadership Achieve annual budget and financial performance targets. Maximise occupancy through strong stakeholder and referrer relationships. Manage rostering, funding processes, and resource utilisation effectively. Embed a continuous improvement culture across the Care Community. Use feedback, audits, and data to drive service excellence. Implement organisational initiatives and new processes efficiently. Foster a zero-harm safety culture for residents and staff. Ensure WH&S compliance, investigations, and ongoing risk management. Promote wellbeing and return-to-work initiatives where required. About You Experience in aged care, healthcare or a highly regulated service environment Proven leadership experience including recruitment, coaching & performance management Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets & commercial outcomes Experience managing compliance, quality systems & accreditation High computer literacy and current police check Resilient, proactive, empathetic, and an excellent communicator Knowledge of aged care standards, regulations & funding mechanisms Experience in complaints resolution, stakeholder engagement, or account management If you''re a passionate leader who thrives in a purpose-driven, people-focused environment, we''d love to hear from you.
