With a manufacturing base and Head office in Bangkok, and 15 branches situated strategically around the world, we are a leading food farmer, manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer, with iconic Asian brands and a commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.Role Overview:This will be a dual role, primarily responsible for development and implementation of market leading products in line with CP business metrics and expectations across multiple proteins and categories, both in the Retail and Foodservice space. You will work closely with our fast-paced team here in Australia as well as with our larger business in Southeast Asia and beyond. There will also be a smaller component of QA work to be done alongside the NPD role. This is a Permanent Full-Time role based in our new office in Docklands Victoria.Key Responsibilities:Lead new product development projects from concept through to launch for both retail and foodservice categories, ensuring on time deliveryCo-ordinate customer product presentationsDevelop NPD concept samples working with internal or external partnersCreate and maintain product documentation, including NPD briefs, specifications, import requirements, packaging information and updating of retailer information systemsCollaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality outcomesWork with current and new manufacturing suppliers for factory trials, ingredients and packaging requirementsEnsure compliance with FSANZ, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, and customer standardsDrive improvement and innovation across the business, with an strong knowledge of key certifications such as Global GAP, ASC & SEDEXGood understanding of import regulations and retailer compliance programsStay informed on food trends and identify innovative opportunities for growthManage non-conformances and product holdsQualifications & Experience:A minimum of 5+ years'' experience in a similar role within the food industryA degree in Food Science / TechnologyA strong creative flair and a passion for innovationA hands-on, energetic approach with excellent organisational and multitasking skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as requiredBilingual in Thai / English is a plusWhy Join Us?Work with a highly respected and growing business in the Australian food industryLead an exciting sector with great potential for expansionBe part of a team that values innovation, quality, and customer relationshipsHave your ideas heard and supportedFlexible work arrangements suited to your needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
