Here''s what youll need The exciting role of Principal Electrical Engineer in the Energy & Power Infrastructure team is at the forefront of the energy transition where youll deliver critical power engineering consultancy services. Youll work across medium and high voltage design in transmission and distribution projects while helping Jacobs meet growing client demands in sustainable energy infrastructure. Heres a snapshot of the role: Responsibilities Provide technical direction to engineers and project teams locally and in our Global Delivery Centres to enable the delivery of design packages. Contribute to a specialised engineering team delivering engineering solutions in traction power, EV transport, renewable generation, HV connections and reticulation, earthing and bonding, EMC, substations and electrical protection systems. Develop key client accounts and manage the delivery of projects in sectors such as resources, industrial/processing, power utilities, renewable power, water/wastewater, rail and defence. Proactively manage and undertake technical reviews of design deliverables, lead and participate in project and client meetings. Utilise your technical capability across distribution primary and secondary systems, including protection systems, power system studies, protection studies, grading and relay configurations. Actively support the achievement of growth targets in sales and revenue through proposal development, client interaction, client relationships, strategy, interviews and presentations.
