Remote work or telecommuting arrangements outside of this jurisdiction are not permissible for this position.Salary range commensurate with experience and qualifications.What Youll DoArchitect and implement enterprise-level data solutions that align with business goals and compliance requirements.Design and optimize data models, storage solutions, and integration pipelines across various platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).Partner directly with clients to develop scalable data platforms, data governance frameworks, and analytics strategies.Create and oversee ETL/ELT processes and advise on best practices for data quality, security, and accessibility.Serve as a strategic liaison between business and IT to bridge gaps and ensure alignment.Manage project timelines, expectations, and deliverables with clear communication and strong stakeholder engagement.What Youll NeedMust-Haves5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related fieldHigh proficiency in SQL and strong data modeling skillsExperience in data governance, compliance standards, and enterprise data strategyExcellent communication skillswritten, verbal, and interpersonalAbility to thrive in client-facing environments and lead cross-functional teamsAdaptability and problem-solving mindset in fast-paced and ambiguous situationsProven experience with data lakehouse architecture including the storage and processing of semi-structured and unstructured file typesProven support for data science initiativesUnderstanding of pipeline and cost monitoring and optimisationComfortable leading business engagements to source requirements or refine data modelsExperience with Azure & AWS CSPs preferableWhat Wed Like You to HaveExperience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Familiarity with modern data warehouses and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)ETL tool experience (e.g., dbt, Matillion, Informatica, Fivetran)Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their role in data platformsDegree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)Why InterWorksInterWorks is a people-focused tech consultancy that empowers clients with customized, collaborative solutions, and we love pursuing innovation alongside people who inspire us.
